Garden Bites Teacher Training

This course is designed for elementary teachers and staff registered for The Learning Garden “Garden Bites” Program. This course will provide lessons and strategies to link common core state standards, health, and nutrition to The Learning Garden. Teachers will leave with 8 hands on lessons for each grade applicable to them (within grades K-8) and 8 Learning Garden supporting activities to engage students in their Learning Garden. The course will also focus on the creation of approachable in-class food recipes, including hands-on demonstrations and tastings.
