Surveys 2020-21
-
Overview
If you’ve been around DPS for long, you’ll know that we love our surveys. And now there’s even more to love about them! Beginning in the 2020-21 school year, DPS enacted a comprehensive survey strategy to ensure we receive input from our students, families and team members to inform upcoming district-level decisions. In addition, school-level survey results are playing a role in your school-level continuous improvement efforts.
Several things have converged to make 2020-21 a good time to revamp our survey strategy.
- Responding to the changing health environment has necessitated frequent pivots, and led to the increased use of surveys for including student, educator, and family voices in decision-making.
- Reimagining the SPF means that we have an opportunity to revisit and revise the Family Satisfaction and Student Satisfaction surveys.
The Impact Office is serving to coordinate district-wide surveys that engage stakeholders (students, educators, and families) regularly over the course of the school year, and is working closely with Academics, Equity & Engagement, Operations, Schools and Communications to align survey items and reporting. Read below to learn more about the planned surveys for this school year and learn more about our findings.
