Strategy Office / Student Voice and Leadership (SVL)

Student Voice and Leadership (SVL) is a team in Denver Public Schools that leads strategies, programming and professional development that catalyzes the sociopolitical development of high school youth, builds the institutional knowledge on meaningful youth-adult partnerships and engages youth voice in district decision-making & policies. Through each of our programs, students engage in critical civic inquiry processes informed by ethnic studies pedagogies to identify social inequities in their communities, research and analyze these issues, and develop policy solutions to address them.
