School Calendar Reports are based on data entered into Infinite Campus (IC). All DPS schools (district-run and charter) are responsible for adjusting the days which are different than the District-approved calendar and have also specified the period schedule used on any given day.

Fours reports are available to enable the work of central office Operational Teams: (1) Student First and Last School Day, (2) Teacher First and Last Work Day, (3) School Calendar Detail, and (4) School Calendar by Day. These reports include all schools in the district

Student First and Last School Day

This report lists the first and last identified school day for students in IC, as well the number of total days the students are expected to attend. Innovation schools are flagged as they may have a larger variance in the number of days due to their innovation agreement. The “Last Modified Date” field indicates the last time one of these data fields was changed in IC.

Teacher First and Last Work Day

This report lists the first and last identified work day for teachers in IC, as well the number of total days the teachers are expected to work. Innovation schools are flagged as they may have a larger variance in the number of days due to their innovation agreement. The “Last Modified Date” field indicates the last time one of these data fields was changed in IC.

School Calendar Detail

This report provides a list of each day in the calendar year. The “Structure Name” and “Schedule Name” represent the school’s period scheduling information for that day. “School Day Code” identifies if the school has a specific event on that day such as Vacation or Family Conferences. Days are flagged as “Student Day” (a day when students are attending school and learning), and “Teacher Day” (a day when staff is at school). The “Creation Date” is when the record was uploaded into our system, and the “Last Modified Date” field indicates the last time one of these data fields was changed in IC since the data was loaded.

School Calendar by Day

This report provides a list of schools and the schedule information for a specific day, including whether or not school is in session (look at “Student Day”), as well as the start and end time on the chosen day. The “Early or Late” column indicates if the school is starting an hour (or more) later than the normal start time, or is ending an hour (or more) earlier than the normal end time. The “Creation Date” is when the record was uploaded into our system, and the “Last Modified Date” field indicates the last time one of these data fields was changed in IC since the data was loaded.
