Integrity
"Mr. Leeds' integrity is questioned by none and valued by everyone. He is consistent and persistent in enforcing standards for all students to receive high level instruction in social studies. He believes collaboration improves teaching standards, English Language Learners (ELLs) deserve first-language support combined with English instruction, and that non-academic social skills can and should be taught alongside academic skills. Mr. Leeds works tirelessly to bring these beliefs to action. He requires excellence from his peers in his ninth-grade PLC. He consistently applies best practices for ELLs and seeks out professional learning opportunities for himself and our school. And, in four sections of ninth-grade classes, he requires engagement daily by all students, ensuring our most vulnerable age group connects with peers in a positive and productive manner."
