  • What is my DPS Google account?

    Every DPS employee automatically receives a dpsk12.net Google account when they are hired. You can access your dpsk12.net account at googlemail.dpsk12.net. For a step-by-step guide see: Guide - Log Into DPS Google.

  • Where do I go for support?

    How to Use Gmail: 

    If you need support with how to use Gmail, first check the Gmail Migration resources on TheCommons Resource Library for supporting documentation, videos, and online training modules.  If you need additional assistance, you can also reach out to a peer, sign up for the the Google Champions chat, or search Google Help

     

    Technical Issues:

    If you are experiencing technical issues (such as missing emails, missing folders (now labels), unable to send an email, etc.,) submit an incident to DoTS. Please include screenshots for the fastest supp

  • Is there training available for how to use Gmail?

    There are resources available to help you learn to use Google Workspace but we do not host in-person or formal training sessions. Google has extensive documentation and online training resources to help users become proficient in Google Workspace.

  • Can I turn off inbox sorting (Promotions, Updates, etc...)?

    You can change the settings in your inbox and turn off Categories (such as Promotions, Social or Updates) by following the steps found on Gmail Help.

  • Can I access my DPS voicemail from Gmail?

    You can access and listen to your DPS voicemail from your Gmail inbox. A VoiceMessages label is automatically applied when they are sent to your inbox or you can select VoiceMessages from your inbox Labels (folders) on the left.   • My school has an attendance voicemail inbox or other shared voicemail email account. How do I access it?

    If you have a school/team shared voicemail inbox, that will automatically move to Google when your team transitions to Gmail. You can access your shared voicemail inbox by following is step-by-step guide: Check your Shared Voicemail Inbox.

  • Can I access my DPS Gmail and Calendar on my mobile device?

    You can access your DPS Google accounts on your smartphone. You will need to install the Gmail and Calendar apps to continue to access your DPS email and calendar using your smartphone. You can set up your device using the instructions found on the Gmail and Google Workspace Commons Page.

  • How can I personalize my Gmail account?

    You can personalize your Gmail account to include a location designation, add your pronouns, change your display name, or add a Google Account picture by following the steps found on the Google Account Help Center.
