Access for Principals, Assistant Principals and Deans
Access Renewal for 2024-2025
With the release of the new Discipline Matrix for the 2024-25 SY, the annual Behavior Management access renewal requirement for all school administrative staff is being delayed to allow for the creation of the new Behavior Management eLearning. School principals, assistant principals and deans who have Behavior Management access at the end of SY 23-24 will keep access through mid-fall 2024. Look for the new eLearning to be available in August.
Once the new eLearning is released, school administrators will have three months to complete the eLearning in order to keep access. Please check back here and in upcoming district newsletters for updates as they become available.
First-time Access
- Must have an active school assignment in InforHR
- Must complete the Behavior Management Certification in Learning Space. (The new 2024-2025 course will be available in August.)
Once these requirements are met, access to IC Behavior Management should be granted automatically within two business days of completing the certification (sometimes sooner) with no need to manually request access. (If, after two full business days, you have not been granted access, please reach out to DoTS.) -
Access for all other School-based roles
Access Renewal for 2024-2025
With the release of the new Discipline Matrix for the 2024-25 SY, the opportunity for non-administrative school staff to recertify for annual access to Behavior Management is being delayed to allow for the creation of the new Behavior Management eLearning. All non-administrative staff who have Behavior Management access at the end of SY 23-24 will lose access on June 30, 2024 and need to begin the access process afresh upon their return to school in August.
First-time Access
IC Behavior Management access exceptions for non-administrative school-based staff will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Those requesting an access exception will need to:
- Be assigned as the Discipline Building Leader (DBL) in their building
- Complete the Behavior Management Certification in Learning Space. (The new 2024-2025 course will be available in August.)
- Reach out to a member of the Central Discipline team (Michelle Powell, Terri Talavera or Ike Ogbuike) to request the exception
- Meet additional demonstrations of proficiency, as defined by the Central Discipline team.
Once these requirements are met, please submit an incident to DoTS, as access is NOT automated for other school-based roles.
