Administrative Transfers

  • Administrative transfers provide families with the opportunity to change schools during the school year, and outside of the times of open enrollment. Administrative Transfers are considered an agreement between School Leadership and they are not guaranteed.

    • The Administrative Transfer process is available for parent/guardians to request, for students to change schools during the course of the school year. Transfer approval is based on space availability, demonstration of genuine need, and student’s history.
    • Research indicates that continuity in a school is a factor that affects achievement. Therefore, transfers during the school year are strongly discouraged.
    • Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
    • An approval for one child does not guarantee approval for siblings.
