DPS 101: A Community Leadership Course
Are you looking to build community and learn more about collaborative leadership? Do you have an idea or question that you are ready to explore with others in DPS, within a small cohort? DPS 101: A Communiy Leadership Course will study what leadership can mean and how DPS offices collaborate to ensure togetherness as a school district.
The DPS 101: A Community Leadership Course will travel through the inner workings of DPS departments, structures and systems, and offer learning opportunities to reflect on your own civic leadership or engagement story. Participants in DPS 101: A Community Leadership Course will leave with a deeper knowledge of department functions, civically minded attributes, and a sense of belonging.
The course consists of seven, two-hour collaborative meetings held at different locations with DPS. The meeting dates are as follows: Oct. 11, Nov. 6, Dec. 13, Jan. 10, Feb. 21, March 13, and April 17. Please note that this is an in-person learning opportunity.
Who can participate?
Any DPS community member, whether you have a child/adolescent learning in DPS, or work with or for DPS.
