Reminder, CSCs are required to meet quarterly, but may choose to meet monthly. The calendar outlined below shows suggested quarterly (or monthly) events for all three of the governance structures. Note that many of the committee events have been combined to maximizing the benefit of the governance structures (and ensure legal compliance) in the easiest-to-implement way. FALL

 To be in compliance, CSCs are required to meet quarterly. To maximize impact, CSCs may choose to meet monthly. Both calendars are outlined below.

August

• Distribute information to parents to elect CSC members. (May also be done at the end of the previous year.)
• Elect CSC committee members

September

• Training for CSC members
• September CSC monthly meeting - if meeting monthly
  • Selecting chairperson and secretary
  • Ratify or update bylaws
  • MLE-PAC subcommittee meeting

October

• Quarter 1 CSC meeting - if meeting quarterly
  • Election of officers
  • Ratify or update bylaws
  • MLE-PAC subcommittee meeting
  • Title I annual parent meeting (before 10/31)
  • Allocation of Title 1 Parent Engagement Dollars
  • CSC vets Title 1 Parent Engagement Dollars proposal
