The Denver Public Schools Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team fosters a school community that is educated, engaged and empowered to share the responsibility in creating supportive schools where every student thrives. 

What we offer

Denver Public Schools Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team provides access to resources, information, education and support to 90,452 students, their families, as well as 10,177 staff in the Denver Public Schools community at any point in their life journey. Our programs and services include:

• Community Hubs: address a holistic approach to Denver Public schools students, families, and sometimes staff and commuity learning through programs or services whic support the social, emotional. Click here for more information

• The Empowerment and Engagement Team: Partners with Denver Public Schools parents and staff as academic champions for studnet success. We offer professional development tranings, parent leadership traning, volunteer opportunities, district-wide engagement initiatives and more. The Empowerment and engagement team has three subteams: CET, FSCP, and Volunteer Services.  Click here for more information 

• The Family and Community Engagement University (FACE U): Provides resources like tips, webinars, and tranings to hlep families support and stay involoved wit their studnets-all just a click away! Click here for more information

• Parent Teacher Home Visits (PTHV): A high-impact family engagement strategy designed to build trusting home-school partnerships centered on shared hopes and dreams. Click here for more information 

• Volunteer Services: Provides resources to the Denver Public School Community that support the engagement of volunteers in ensuring that every learner thrieves. As of February 2025 Denver Public Schools has 12,700 volunteers. Click here for more information
