ILT Annual LEAP Calibration

Purpose: ILT teams are required to conduct an annual calibration session at their schools for recertification. The goals of recalibrating every year are to:

• Calibrate all LEAP observers in scoring classroom observation indicators accurately, so that DPS has a reliable and fair system of teacher evaluation  
• Address observer bias so that there is consistency and integrity of LEAP implementation across DPS

Please review the one-pager for expectations and support for your annual ILT LEAP calibration session. All materials for your calibration session are included in the resources section of this document and in the facilitation deck. 

The window for Calibration Sessions was August 12 - September 6.
