The Development of LEAP
-
The design of the LEAP system was heavily influenced by you - our teachers and school leaders here at DPS for the purpose of defining excellent instruction and providing clear expectations for what great teaching looks like. In addition, we worked closely with the Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA) to get feedback to inform decisions every step of the way. Continual improvements are made to the system design to ensure a fair and consistent use of the system across the district.

- The Measures of Effective Teaching (MET) study heavily informed development of the measures that contribute to LEAP.
