Denver Public Schools’ costume department houses more than 5,000 costumes in different time periods and styles. The Costume Shop is intended to accommodate both DPS teachers and students by offering a vast selection of costumes and accessories for plays, performances, and theatrical productions. DPS District teachers can borrow an entire set of outfits to dress their productions, from Shakespeare to contemporary.

We sincerely want your performances to be experiences that create enjoyable memories for all teachers, students, and parents. The majority of these costumes are vintage, therefore special care and attention must be given when handling these costumes. Also, be considerate of your fellow educators and return your costumes promptly after use. This also improves the chances of checked-out items not being misplaced.
