Denver Citywide Marching Band
-
The Denver Citywide Marching Band was formed in 1980 and is currently under the direction of Jason U'Ren. The DCMB is primarily a parade band that performs for various events, such as: Parade of Lights, Heart Walk, and Light the Night for LLS. The band consists of high school and middle school students from the Denver Public School System. These students represent Denver's broad range of economic, international and religious cultures, joined together to share their common love of music.
- Students who wish to participate should have at least one year experience on their instrument, unless they wish to join color guard. Color guard does not require any previous experience.
- Rehearsals will be from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the North HS Band Room, usually on Wednesdays with a few rare exceptions.
- You will need your instruments and some good shoes for marching. No flip flops
