GED Testing & High School Equivalancy Diploma - offers accessible programs to help adults earn a High School Equivalency (GED) or an Adult High School Diploma. With flexible class options in English and Spanish, these programs support learners in completing their education and preparing for college or career advancement.
English Language Development Classes - Emily Griffith Technical College offers a variety of English language classes to help learners improve their speaking, reading, and writing skills. Programs include Career Readiness ESL, CTE Prep, Pre-Academic Community English, and Work Readiness English, designed to support students in achieving their educational and professional goals. DPS Community Hubs - free, in-person support to families and community members—including English and GED classes, citizenship and parenting workshops, computer and financial literacy training, early childhood learning, job placement assistance, resume building, and access to DPS hiring opportunities—along with basic needs resources like food, clothing, and emotional support.
Family & Community Engagement (FACE) - connects families and community members with a wide network of trusted partner organizations and public resources—offering everything from food, clothing, housing, and financial assistance to health services, youth programs, summer camps, transportation, mental health support, and immigrant resources.
Ombuds - serves as a neutral and confidential resource that helps staff, students, and families navigate concerns, explore solutions, access the right resources, and foster effective communication—all while identifying trends to support continuous improvement across the district.
Colorado Free University (CFU) - offers a diverse range of affordable, non-credit classes for adults seeking personal enrichment and professional development. With both in-person and online options, CFU provides courses in areas such as language learning, computer skills, business, arts, personal growth, and more.
