You Were Automatically Enrolled - Now What?
-
Auto-enrollment means that you did not elect or waive benefits during your Open Enrollment or New Hire Enrollment periods. In that case, DPS automatically enrolls you in a plan to make sure that you have access to affordable health care. Below is some information about your plans, the benefits to you, and what to do next.

Your Medical Coverage
You were either enrolled in the Aetna 3500 Employee Only plan or the MotivHealth 2800 Employee Only plan. Both plans provides preventive care for free. This may include free annual preventative exams and some free preventative prescriptions. To get started using your medical benefits, register your Aetna account at www.aetna.com or call 1-855-736-9469. If you were enrolled in MotivHealth, please call 1-844-234-4472 or visit dps.motivhealth.com
Your medical plan is an after-tax deduction. We do this to allow benefits to be dropped outside of Open Enrollment or with a Qualifying Life Event.
Cost: check out the Enrollment Guide to determine your per paycheck cost for this plan.
*You will see your Aetna or MotivHealth premium listed under “After Tax Deductions” on your paychecks. Certain employee groups are eligible for Benefit Credits to offset the cost of this coverage. If eligible, you will see your Benefit Credits listed under the medical plan deduction as a negative number (a negative number means this is a credit back to you, not another deduction) - this offsets the cost of the medical plan coverage.
