  • Event Support 

    At the Department of Safety, we are committed to ensuring the safety and security of all our school events, especially those held during evening hours. Our dedicated team, including Patrol Officers, Campus Safety Officers, and Sergeants, are available to assist with your event needs.

    Pre-Event Planning and Arrival Times To ensure a seamless and secure event, our staff will be on site one hour prior to the event start time to conduct thorough emergency planning and set-up. For example, if your event is scheduled to begin at 7 PM, our officers will arrive by 6 PM.

    Available Services

    • Patrol Officers: Provide general security and patrol services around the event venue.
    • Campus Safety Officers: Specialize in maintaining a safe campus environment during the event.
      Sergeants: Oversee all safety operations and coordinate between teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.

    For additional details or to arrange our services for your next event, please reach out to the Department of Safety at Security_SpecialEvents@dpsk12.org. We are eager to assist with your event, ensuring a secure atmosphere for all attendees.

    Please complete the Requisition for Safety Personnel form and obtain the signature of the designated requestor. Submit your request along with the Requisition and Charge Authorization form via email to the Department of Safety at least 72 hours before your event. This advance notice allows adequate time for scheduling. If you have any questions, feel free to direct them to the same email address, which is actively monitored.
