The Well Aware Program: Earn $200

  • Every day we make dozens of decisions that affect our health. Even one small step in the right direction is worth celebrating. The Well Aware program encourages you to start on the path to better health. The Well Aware program requires employees who have elected benefits through DPS to complete an online health risk assessment and age-based preventative screenings to earn a $200 stipend.

PROGRAM UPDATE: As we protect ourselves and our community in response to COVID-19, we will be waiving the preventative screening requirement with your health care provider for the 2019-2020 school year.

To complete your online Health Risk Assessment, please visit your Kaiser Permanente or Aetna employee portal.

    • For employees enrolled in a Consumer Driven Health Plan, $200 will be contributed to your Health Savings Account.
    • For employees enrolled in a HMO Plan, $200 will be awarded to your paycheck.

The deadline to complete Health Risk Assessment is MAY 8, 2020.

Please see below for answers to frequently asked questions by DPS employees. If you have additional questions, please contact the Employee Wellness Program at staffwellness@dpsk12.org.
