- To develop the understanding, skills, habits and attitudes necessary for competence in his/her chosen career as well as for full enjoyment and appreciation of life;
- To use both critical thinking and good judgment in reaching decisions;
- To become a well informed, responsible citizen;
- To be open-minded and to want to continue to learn;
- To develop good work habits and pride in careful workmanship;
- To understand and follow good health and safety practices;
- To develop a philosophy of life and a sense of values;
