  • Making a request

    All requests for use of MFSAB vehicles need to be made via Advanced Trips. The entry of the request, approved by the principal or appointed designee, must be received by the Transportation Department at least 10 student/teacher contact days prior to the anticipated excursion date. MFSAB units must be picked up Monday through Friday. There are no available staff members to help on the weekends.

     

    Pricing

    Renting an MFSAB starts at $80 per day for the first 100 miles + $0.44 per additional mile. 

    • For example, Pueblo and back is 226 miles round trip.
    • It would be $80 for the first 100 miles, then an additional 126 miles at $0.44 per mile, which equals $55.44.
    • In total, you would pay $135.55 for the trip ($80 + $55.44).
     
    There is an additional fuel charge of $5.00 per gallon based on mileage used, and a cleaning fee of $40.00 if the vehicle is dirty upon return.
     
    You may not take an MFSAB to the mountains or out of state.
