RE: Open Enrollment
It’s that time of year again. It’s time to take advantage of the many benefits DPS has to offer. If you work 20 or more hours per week, then you are eligible for benefits and must act before the Open Enrollment period ends. You must log into the Benefits Enrollment Site during April 19th through May 7th and either enroll or waive your benefits. Click here for instructions on how to make your selections.
Here are some key terms you should know while researching your options:
- Deductible is the amount you pay for covered health services before your insurance starts to pay.
- Out-of-Pocket Maximum is the most you can pay for covered health services in one plan year.
- Benefit Credit is the amount that DPS contributes toward your health insurance premiums.
- Premium is the amount you pay per month for health insurance.
