RE: End-of-the-Year BBQ
Dear Transportation Employees,
We regret to inform you that we will not be able to hold an end-of-the-year barbeque. We want you to know that we were looking forward to celebrating you all for helping us get through a tough school year. Everyone on the Transportation team is important and gave their all to make sure students had equitable access to education. Your effort did not go unnoticed.
We’ve decided to cancel the end-of-the-year barbeque due to safety concerns. There is currently an outbreak of COVID-19 in the Northeast Terminal. We don’t want to risk anyone else getting sick at either terminal.
We will do our best to hold a Welcome Back barbeque at the beginning of the 2021-22 school year instead. We really do value each and every one of you. We look forward to being able to safely celebrate with you in August.
Thank you,
Lonnie Rodriguez
Terminal Director
