RE:  Updated Mask Usage

Good afternoon,

Thank you for reading our last email regarding updated mask guidance and thank you for your questions. This memo will clarify the steps vaccinated employees will need to take in order to remove their mask in both the Hilltop and Northeast terminals.

  • Before entering a transportation building without a mask, you must see your supervisor. Your supervisor will ask for your vaccination status and will ask for proof of vaccination. If you have provided proof that you are fully vaccinated and it’s been at least two weeks since receiving your final dose, you will be allowed to remove your mask in certain settings.

  • Vaccinated individuals who have been cleared by their supervisor may remove their masks in open spaces at either terminal. Open spaces include employee break areas and hallways.

  • If you’re around students, you must wear a mask, even if you are vaccinated.

If you are vaccinated and prefer to wear a mask at work, that is acceptable. If you are not vaccinated, you MUST wear a mask at all times while at work, unless you are eating or are alone in a dedicated and closed office space or room; or outdoors socially distanced from other individuals.

If you have any other questions about mask usage, please contact your supervisor.

Thank you,

Albert Samora
