RE: Health Insurance for Drivers
After successful negotiations with the Drivers Union, all drivers with a 6.5 hour schedule will get the full benefit credit. Going forward, work packages for drivers will be for 6.5 hours a day. You can learn more about the benefits DPS offers by clicking here. Your eligibility for the full benefit credit is backdated to 10/15/21.
Note: If you need a shorter workday, then you will go from full-time to part-time, which means your health insurance credit will be prorated and you will lose two vacation days a year.
