RE: Attendance Bonus
As DPS navigates the severe driver shortage, we also know it’s important to try and fulfil every shift. In response, we came up with the attendance bonus for the drivers. This was in an effort to deal with the immediate deficiencies in our organization. Please know that we value every person on the Transportation Services team, what you do is important and you do matter.
That being said, I have met with both union leaders to discuss possible incentives for our other team members. We plan on announcing those changes after the Thanksgiving break.
