RE:       Masks on School Buses

On Friday, February 25th, the CDC decided to no longer require masks on school buses. This means drivers, paras, students and any other passengers do not need to wear a mask when on the bus, regardless of vaccination status. Although wearing a mask is no longer required, it is still strongly recommended.

The CDC decided to drop the mask requirement based on updated guidance that no longer recommends universal indoor mask wearing for K-12 students in communities with a low or medium COVID-19 level. This decision aligns with Denver, where 80% of residents ages five and older are vaccinated.

If you have any questions about the updated masking policy, please speak with your supervisor.

Thank you,
