RE:      ATU Agreement

 

DPS management and ATU negotiated diligently to bring hourly pay rates to market value. With that in mind, I am happy to report that all of our ATU members who are reporting to the terminals for active work assignment are now getting an increase retroactively starting June 1st. The 3-year financial agreement with the ATU provides market adjustments on June 1st  and cost-of-living/step adjustments on August 1st of each year. All employees are eligible for a step increase.

 

I want to thank you all for your hard work– it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Please know that you are appreciated by the District and the management team. I look forward to seeing you all back in August. I hope you have a great Summer Break.

 

The District is still actively negotiating with other unions.
