SUBJECT: In-Service Details

 

Dear Transportation Staff,

 

The 2022-23 school year in-service will be held on Monday, August 15th and Tuesday, August 16th. You need to attend both days. It will be from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., with a continental breakfast being served at 7:30 A.M. each day.

 

You will be split into groups, spending one morning at your terminal and the other morning at the PPA Center (2105 Decatur St, Denver, CO 80211). There will be a bus to bring you to and from your terminal to the PPA Center each day, if you would like to use it. A bus to the PPA Center will be leaving Hilltop at 7:15 A.M., while another bus to the PPA Center will be leaving Northeast at 7:00 A.M. The buses will leave the terminal promptly, so if you need a ride, make sure you arrive at the terminal on time.

 

We will be strictly enforcing the dress code. This means you must wear closed-toed, closed-heeled shoes in addition to the following guidelines:

 

• Jeans or slacks without holes (NO Spandex) unless worn as leggings or stockings with appropriate top
• No clothing designed for exercise, gym wear, anything perceived as gym wear including but not limited to sweatpants or sweatshirts, jogging outfits, etc.
• Sports Team Apparel (i.e. any pro team Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche etc) can be worn on Fridays only referred to as casual Friday.
• Educational Sports Apparel such as high school or college can be worn any day.

To determine which in-service location you will be attending on each day, please find your information below:

 

Monday, August 15th:

If your last name starts with an A through K, you will be at the PPA Center.

If your last name starts with an L through Z, you will be at your terminal.

 

Tuesday, August 16th:

If your last name starts with an L-Z, you will be at the PPA Center.

If your last name starts with an A-K, you will be at your terminal.

 

If you bid a shuttle, you only have to go to your terminal, not the PPA Center.
