RE:  September 2022 Monthly Bid

Attention Drivers,

The September 2022 bid is now active. Bids are available for both terminals.

The bid will remain open through Wednesday, September 14th, so make your selections by then if you want to participate in the bid.

Please read the entire document to make sure you understand your obligations when bidding. After reading this document, click here to view the bids. You’ll then find a link to submit your bid at the top of the web page.

CDL and NON-CDL Drivers:

Due to the termination of services or changes of status of a driver, this route posting is available via both Terminal Bulletin Boards for a period of seventy-two (72) hours.  In accordance with the existing contract language any driver (outside the 90 day rule excluding the new school year bid in August) may bid this route with qualifications and seniority prevailing in all instances.

Once you have signed up for this route and have the “Seniority” to get this route, you will be obligated to drive this assignment for the next 90 driving days, or until you have a chance to bid again whichever comes last.

If during the 72 hours of the posting, the employee decides to change their mind on a previously submitted bid, the employee can do so as each submitted bid is date time stamped.  However, the new bid submission must be the complete submission.  Marking one work package on an earlier submission and then another work package on a subsequent bid submission does not encompass both as a single submitted bid.  The subsequent or last bid submission is the entire employee bid alone.  If the employee has made a submission bid and then decides to withdraw completely [before the bid is closed] any bidding at all, they can submit another bid and mark the single block “No bid.”   However, if the employee then decides to bid, the last date time stamped submission will prevail.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your supervisor.

Thank you,
