Employee Referral Bonus (Posted 4/8/21)

Hello Transportation Services Team, 

It’s time to look forward to the 2021-22 school year. Are you ready to help us expand our transportation family? We need more CDL bus drivers, non-CDL bus drivers and bus paraprofessionals. Obviously, you already work here, so why are you reading this? Because there could be money in it for you.

We’re offering a referral bonus. This means if you refer someone who ends up getting hired, you could make a cool $400.

Here is the fine print:

Q: Who can I refer? Any applicant that is not currently or formerly employed with Denver Public Schools, in any capacity.

Q: Who is eligible for the referral bonus? All Transportation Services employees are eligible to receive a referral bonus, excluding: department directors, managers, employees whose recurring role is recruitment and all HR employees.

Q: When will I get the bonus? You will receive the first $200 referral bonus after the employee has successfully completed training and 3 months of employment once the new employee enters the terminal. The second $200 of your referral bonus will be paid after the successful completion of 6 months of employment.

Q: How do I get the bonus? You must fill out this form and deliver it to Lorena Cardona (Lorena_Cardona@dpsk12.org) to receive your bonus, which you will get if the above qualifications are met. You may also ask your supervisor for a physical copy of the form if you are having trouble accessing it online. Your supervisor will be able to help you submit it to Lorena.

Q: How often can I get a bonus for referring someone? You can get the $400 bonus once a year.
