Advanced Placement (AP) Coursework

  • Advanced Placement (AP) offers 38 different courses in STEM, English, Social Science, Arts and World Languages.

All High School students, grades 9-12, aspire to challenge themselves with a rigorous college-level course and receive college credit or college placement.

Students who take AP courses receive benefits such as showing colleges that they’re serious about their education and that they’re willing to challenge themselves with rigorous course work.

85% of selective colleges and universities report that a student’s AP experience favorably impacts admission decisions.

Research shows that students who take AP courses and exams are much more likely than their peers to complete a college degree on time.
