Graduation Guidelines

  • Graduation Requirements for the Class of 2027 and Beyond 

    In pursuit of our commitment of preparing students for success in college and career, and to act on our commitment to close gaps in opportunities for all students, the Board of Education has established the following graduation requirements for students who enter the ninth grade for the first time in the 2023-24 school year and thereafter.  

    • Financial Literacy- either Personal Financial Literacy (0.5 units) or Financial Algebra (1.0 units)
    • Cultural Competency (0.5 units)
    • The History of Power, Conflict and Healing (0.5 units)
    • Comprehensive Health (0.5 units)
