International Baccalaureate

  • DPS’s K-12 International Baccalaureate (IB) Schools have provided the opportunity for students to challenge themselves to higher levels of educational excellence while providing the foundation for intellectual curiosity and academic rigor to thrive.
    IB Encompasses 4 programmes:

      • Primary Years Programme (PYP) Age range: 3-12
      • Middle Years Programme (MYP) Age range: 11-16
      • Career Programme (CP)
      • Diploma Programme (DP) Age range: 16-19

    An IB education is designed to provide an inquiry based, global learning experience for all students. In most cases, students in high school IB Diploma class can potentially earn college credit/or placement, it depends on the qualifying score they receive upon completion of the course.

    Overall, the IB Framework provides ongoing staff development, outstanding programme standards and practices, a rigorous, comprehensive curriculum encouraging student curiosity and inquiry K-12.
